46th Annual Meeting of SHD


The 46th Annual Meeting will be co-hosted by Colonial Williamsburg, the Mariners’ Museum in Newport News, Virginia, and the Earl Gregg Swem Library of the College of William and Mary.
The meeting will begin with a reception at the DeWitt Wallace Museum on Thursday evening (October 6). Sessions will be held in Colonial Williamsburg’s DeWitt Wallace Museum on Friday (October 7) and the Mariners’ Museum on Saturday (October 8). Receptions and exhibit tours have been arranged with the DeWitt Wallace Museum, The Mariners’ Museum, and the Earl Gregg Swem Library. The annual dinner will be held at the Two Rivers Country Club on Saturday evening.
Members interested in presenting a paper or organizing a session should submit proposals to SHD Vice President and Program Chairman Ralph Ehrenberg, 3117 Beechwood Lane, Falls Church, VA 22042, USA (Phone: 703/538-0948; e-mail: rehrenberg@aol.com). A preliminary meeting program and registration packet containing information about Colonial Williamsburg (including transportation and hotels) will be sent to all SHD members, and will be posted on this web site - www.sochistdisc.org.
